Wendy was born in the seaside suburb of Merewether, Newcastle. Later she moved out to Lake Macquarie where she still resides.
Her love of Newcastle and the lake can be seen in many of Wendys’ paintings of these areas. Wendy started off painting in watercolour but in the past eight years has changed to pastel but still dabbles in watercolour occasionally too.
Wendy is a life member of the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Art Society after twenty years of working on the committee as Secretary, Treasurer and President. She now occasionally does pastel classes if asked.
All of Wendys’ artwork is sold fully framed. New, top-quality frames in either white or light timber.
Over the years Wendy has won many awards, her latest being a finalist in the Yapang Art Prize at Lake Macquarie Art Gallery 2025
