JHH Exhibition

Several of our members are also participating in an exhibition at John Hunter Hospital. The exhibition titled ‘Home is the Hunter’ features local scenes and events, with all work being for sale.  The paintings are hanging outside the Children’s Ward (J2) on the ground floor and will be on display til the end of January.

Belmont Exhibition

The exhibition at Belmont Citi Centre started on Monday and is looking really good. Lots of colour and variety with the artwork and some really good feedback. The work will be on show til the 16th so come and have a look!

Exhibition at The Place, Charlestown

The Place, outside Charlestown Square on the corner of Frederick and Pearson streets, once again are showing paintings by The Newcastle Art Society. Several of our members have participated, with the exhibition spread throughout the building. All work is for sale and on display until mid December.

August demonstration

Our guest demonstrator in August was Joyce Dellaca, who displayed her wonderful drawing skills with coloured charcoal. During the demonstration Joyce shared lots of useful hints and tips for using this medium, and many were inspired by her beautiful drawings and her enthusiasm.
